45th Annual WMBA Real Estate and Finance Conference

Registration, Continental Breakfast 
7:45 - 8:30am


We will offer a continental breakfast as you register and get settled in Salon ABC for the day's conference speakers. In addition, the Silent Auction will be available for viewing and entering your bid. The auction items are donated by WMBA Members and the display will be available for ongoing bids throughout the morning and afternoon, including lunch. The Silent Auction will conclude at 7:30pm at the evening reception.

General Session
8:45 - 9:15am

Jan Brezina, President of the WMBA will start out the morning with a welcome presentation and continue with a State of the Association presentation. She will be recognizing all of our sponsors for their generous donations to the 45th Annual Real Estate & Finance Conference.

Buddy Julius, our new Lobbyist from The Firm, LLC will give us an update on the new landscape that affects our industry now and in the future. To see Buddy's full bio, click here.

Donated graciously by National MI, Sarah Vita is the social media expert and Digital Strategist at Cultural Outreach and assistant editor for Mortgage Women Magazine. Chip Lutz

Chip Lutz is a retired Lieutenant Commander from the US Navy and is the President and founder of Unconventional Leader, LLC. Chip's solid leadership experience and his message of leading unconventionally to organizations, associations and military units will be inspiring and uplifting. Chip has been an educator and trainer, author and is a leader who has been there, done that. He will give you the tools to lead better, get more done and leave a legacy. Salon Foyer - WMBA Committee Tables and Wine & Beer bar
3:00 - 4:30pm

You will have the opportunity to meet with the WMBA Committee Chairs to see the types of projects and services they are working on that helps and assists our Association. Find out how you can join a committee, provide feedback and see all of the progress each committee has obtained. There will be a Wine & Beer bar during this timeframe.

Private Vendor Showcase
3:00 - 4:30pm
May include 2-30 minute small group sessions


The Private Vendor Showcase will include a limited number of Vendor Sponsors who have pre-arranged personal 1:1 appointments with attendees from the conference. Some of the vendors will conduct 2-30 minute small group sessions/presentations of their products and/or services. Should there be additional time slots open for appointments,  the Vendor will post the time slots available for onsite appointments. The Private Vendor Showcase will not be open for the general attendees unless they have a scheduled appointment. This is a change from the standard exhibit table in an exhibit hall in previous years.


Reception, Casino Night, Silent Auction and Charitable Assocition - MBA Opens Doors Foundation 
4:00 - 8:30pm

The evening reception will be a fun evening of Casino games, cash bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres and networking with your friends and peers. You will receive casino playing chips that you can use while playing the various games. At the end of the evening, your chips will be exchanged for raffle tickets that can be dropped into a drawing for prizes.

In addition, we have joined forces with the national MBA Opens Doors Foundation for a charitable partnership for this conference. MBA Opens Doors Foundation's mission is to help vulnerable families with critically ill or injured children stay in their homes while a child is in treatment. You will be able to make donations to this charity at the event and through an online donation site.
